We should collect, select and recycle e-waste. -Old TV`s, computer monitors, cell phones contains huge quantities of Pb, Cu..and other heavy metals which may contaminate environment. E.A."Vila Zora" together with experts from PMF-Skopje made examination of heavy metals concentrations of soil in Veles. Measurement were made in central part of town-Youth and Central Park. We measured concentrations of Cd, Pb and Zn which are present in our soil as result of 30-years long contamination from the Smelter-Topilnica. |
